The objective of the Doctoral School's specific training programs is to provide a comprehensive overview of the scientific and technological disciplines within Electrical Engineering and Automation (EEA).
The Doctoral School's specific training programs consist of:
EEA Tutorial
- A 2-hour EEA tutorial offered by laboratories affiliated with the EEA Doctoral School in Lyon and organized by this latter. The tutorial is chosen in consultation with the thesis supervisor. The objective is to acquire, beyond the thesis topic, a comprehensive overview of the scientific and technological disciplines within EEA, and more specifically, the EEA community in Lyon. This transdisciplinary approach is particularly important due to the rapid development of interdisciplinary research. It is mandatory to complete at least 12 hours of tutorials during the 36 months of doctoral studies. However, the total number of validated hours cannot exceed 20. EEA Seminar
- Participation in at least three seminars at one of the affiliated laboratories of the EEA Doctoral School in Lyon falls under the Doctoral School's approved seminar program
- Seminar attendance procedure since December 1st, 2023:
- If attending in person, bring your individual attendance sheet and present yourself to the seminar coordinator to sign your attendance sheet.
- If attending online, indicate your attendance via the chat by providing your first and last name to the seminar coordinator.
- For your seminar to be approved by the Doctoral School, you have to create a training course in ADUM, selecting the "Specific Doctoral School Training" category, and upload the individual seminar attendance sheet signed by the seminar coordinator.
- In the case of PhD students who are not based in Lyon and who are making stays in Lyon which do not allow them to participate, the tutorials may be replaced by scientific training courses outside the theme related to the thesis topic, subject to prior approval by the Doctoral School. be replaced by scientific training courses outside the theme related to the thesis subject, subject to prior approval by X
