The doctoral program is consistent with international experience:
- The Doctoral degree is the highest university degree recognized as such in all countries of the world.
- Scientific research is international. Know-how or equipment necessary for the research work may be located abroad.
- A stay in another country requires confronting a different culture, other points of view, learning other methodologies that can only enrich the training of researchers.
- A mobility allows the PhD student to create his own international network, to establish links with other research teams and thus to open up opportunities for cooperation for the rest of his career.

Pour cela, elle a signé des accords de partenariat avec l’Université d’Ottawa, l’Université de Montréal et l’Université de Sherbrooke (au Canada), l’Université de Tokyo et l’université Tohoku (au Japon), l’Ecole Normale de Chine de l’Est, l’Université Fudan, l’Université Tongji, l’Université Jioa-Tong (à Shanghai), l’Université de Turin, le Politecnico de Turin, le Politecnico de Milan (en Italie) et le TECHNION (en Israël) qui facilitent, notamment, la mise en place d'échanges et de cotutelles
